Solenoid reducing valves

Reducing valves are used when part of a hydraulic system must have a lower pressure than the rest of the system.

Solenoid reducing valves control the pressure level continuously


Proportionally controlled pressure reducing valves can control the pressure level continuously. The pressure reducing valves are usually controlled by a pilot valve, for example RBAP, which is a T-8A cavity and fits with a large number of main valves. They can then be screwed directly into the main valve for site optimization. There are also models of pressure reducing valves for smaller flows, that are directly controlled.

The solenoid reducing valves RBAP and RBAN


The most common reducing valve model RBAP gives minimum pressure in a de-energized position, but there is also an inverted model RBAN where in a de-energized position it gives the set maximum pressure. This is used, for example, in fan controls where it is important that the machines are always cooled. To control the valve's function electrically, we offer simple and user-friendly amplifiers and I/O units. It opens up the possibility of smarter and more automated solutions through electronic feedback of flow, pressure or heat to control a hydraulic function.
