Solenoid proportional relief valves

Relief valves are often used as a safety valve where the valve ensures that the pressure does not exceed a certain predetermined value. The most common proportional relief valves are direct-acting or pilot operated. All hydraulic systems need a main relief valve, in addition it is advisable to place pressure limiters to protect the system against pressure spikes.

Proportionally controlled relief valves are often used to control other valves


Proportionally controlled relief valves can control the pressure level continuously. They are almost always used as a pilot valve to control other larger valves, both pressure reduction and pressure relief valves. These valves consist of SUN's T-8A cavity and fit with a large number of main valves. They can then be screwed directly into the main stage for site optimization.

Relief valves called RBAP and RBAN regulate the pressure


The most common relief valve model RBAP gives minimum pressure in a de-energized position, but there is also an inverted model RBAN where in a de-energized position it delivers the set maximum pressure. This is used, for example, in fan controls where it's important that the machines are always cooled.
